Glass Wash Basin

Hi,
Glass Wash basins are replacing counter top ceramicwares these days. One reason could be definitely the stylish looks and secondly the space requirements. In both these ways people have started preferring glass wash basins than traditional ceramic counter tops.
In line with this, i also prefer glass wash basin for my new flat. My concerns are the durability, where to get and how to check for the good quality and the price.
Can anyone help me out on this?

Hello,
Glass wash basins gives stylish look, definitely. Durability is also good, but should take care of kids not trying to hang of it if it is having a L shape base stand.
I had fixed it in my flat, one thing that I noticed after fixing it is that, you should better go for dazzling colors. I went for a mild color shade that matches my interior color shade.
You can get that in Bally Ceremaics(Nungabakkam high road, beside Park). But please get only the glass bowl, donot buy the stands from Bally. Because in Bally you will get the glass bowls for 6000 or 5000 and the stands also cost almost 3000 to 4000. So buy the stands (L Shape) from a normal fittings hardware shop. It will come to only some 1000 or 1500 only.
I heard recently that the glass wash basins are available in Parryware Showrooms also, but not sure of the pricing.

Hi Murugesh,
thanks for your comments. What is the shape of your basin - round or the one which comes in rectangular with the oval basin in the centre. Also pl suggest which one would you recommend
