Hi, Most of the home have tile dadoing in the kitchen and bathroom. (Thats the terminology of the builders). I hate that ungainly finish on the top layer
of tiles which gives ample space for dust and grime to accumulate and sometimes roaches to. Any idea how to give a better finish.

@ Chisha

as far as I know, dadoing is the term used for the 6 inch uniform gap that exists on the wall closer to the floor.

I am not sure what you mean by dadoing for tiles. Could you provide some explanation for this?

My builder's specifications
Kitchen: Glazed tile dadoing up to 2' height
Bathrooms:...glazed tile dadoing up to lintel height
When asked they said that tiles above platform. My question was when they fix tiles the uppermost layer for the thickeness of the tile ends abruptly and gives space for grime accumulation. Hope I am clear now Smiley
