Would like to have this category (Interior - Living Room) in the forum. Trying to have a proper home theater set up in a 15'x12' space. Need to pick on forum members' inputs for best layout that offers ambiance, functionality and acoustics.

@ deeptrance

What kind of home theatre setup are you looking at?

- is it a flat TV/CRT or a projector?

- is it a 5.1 or 7.1 system?

- is it partly/fully wireless?

Some more details on the positioning of doors/windows/lights would also help....

50" Plasma TV - 5.1 surround system - wired

------------|FP  |-----|
                              |
                              |
                              |
                             W
                             W
------------------------|

FP = Fireplace
W - Window

I have a 3-seater sofa
a two seater loveseat
and an ottoman

The ideal position seems to be over the FP. Let me know what you think.
