Forums looks nice, But I think that it will take a lot of time for people to start using the forums. because

a) they need to register.normally when u want to read up on something or want information on something, the last thing you want to do is to sign up and then sign in.

b) people are not all that tech savvy. especially people who land form search engines.

hopefully, a few tech savvy people will land here and spread it through word of mouth.

The forums look simple & nice . But it takes sometime to adjust to it !
I do not know about Vanilla ; perhaps much help is not required , yet it
would be nice if you could post a simple guide on using Vanilla here .

And all the best to you and your team . I am Seshu if you remember me
on VT . I may not be active here but I am regularly seeing the RSS fees .

one more thing , is it possible to send the user name & password to the
newly registered user (along with the membership activation) . some may
forget the chosen user name and password ! of course the user name is
available on the mail in addressing (Hello user) but not the password .

Regards .

Hello Seshu

Thanks for your kind words. I have already posted a simple usage guide on the forum. Thank you also for reading the aavaas contents through RSS feeds. Please help me get some users in the days to come.

Regarding your last request, I will investigate to see if this is possible. The current system does not send an email to the user containing the password. I hope people dont forget their password often!

regards

Vivek
