My research is mostly limited to reviews over mouthshut.com for inverter/UPS systems and other similar sites. From what i could gather they have named two brands as the best of the lot.
1) Genus
2) Numeric.
But the Numeric brand has a few negative reviews and so i am not very confident about that.
I sent an email to Genus customer contact (taken from
www.genus.in) and they have replied with a mobile number to contact. I spoke to a person who is evidently a Sales Manager and he said they haven't got any dealers for their brand in Tamilnadu but he would be visiting Chennai and Madurai next week to check out some prospective dealers for this wares.
He promised to call me and let me know of whether they would be getting a dealer in chennai any soon after this visit.
He said if i want he could put me through to a dealer in Cochin and they can ship the equipment from there. But the only downside is that i have to wait at least 2 days for any service support.
Anyway i will let you guys know if Genus should get a dealer in chennai....their inverter (sine wave form) and UPS (sine wave form) are pretty good ones to miss compared to other makes.
