Hi!
I am Sudha. I have recently booked a villa in a gated community in Secunderabad. Although the builders plan and finish is very good, I still feel the need to add my own touch. Being a creative person with an obsessive interest in homes and interiors, I have opted for a semi-finished villa. The exteriors cannot be changed but I can work on the interiors. Now I am on the look out for an A-class contractor who will give shape to my dreams. I just want a beautiful finish. I briefly interacted with an architect, but I know exactly what I want and he could not suggest anything interesting. Accomplished architects are out of my reach since my budget is not unlimited. But I do believe that you need a good taste to get results even in a decent budget. Smiley

Hi Sudha - We had bought our flat in Hyderabad in Panjagutta near Sai Baba Temple in Jun-2004 (oh so long ago, it seems). My wife took the time out to deck it up all by herself. She filtered out her preferred designs out of Fevicol books and from there she translated them to carpenters and interior-finishers.

Essentially the thoughts were hers and the execution was thru some other professionals / domain experts. Is this the kind of thought you have on completing your villa?
