Ever got into trouble using the regular deadbolt lock that gets auto-lokced as soon as you pull the door? I am sure I'm not the only one who has faced this problem.

After going through a horrendous experience because of this (door locked, baby inside, some spiderman stuff to get in through the balcony ... blah blah), I am seriously looking for a safer solution.

It seems there are a couple of solutions to this problem. The first one is to use the good old style L Drop latch.

The another one I could find was the biometric lock.

But how good are they? I could not find any user reviews. I am a bit skeptical about these.

Please share your views if you are currently using one of these.

The only downside of electronic/biometric locks I can think of is that they are battery operated and sometimes can put you in a tight spot.

Always buy these products from reputed companies to avoid disappointment.
