HellO friends,
my greeting to all.I would like to know if anyone is having any information on solar powered geysers or anyother equipment or the whole sole power supply alternative.Please suggest if its economical and relaible?If possible also mention the avaerage cost of complete installation.

The thread by William ist providing the cost details,average area required for a 100 ltr capacity water heater and some personal experiance with the system-
If anyone has this system at home,he /she can be the best critic/supporter of this.

yes and no. Usually the terrace/roof of the flat is deemed to be a common property to all the flat owners. If you can seek approval from your association then you can easily install a solar heater on the terrace. you may have to make special arrangements to get the pipes routed to your home.

I chceked that lately Solwar water heaters come with a lining inside to avoid scaling due to sodium salts prevaliing in hard water.

But still , I amde my decision for Electric geyser. I am planning to buy Racold ABS body with 25 ltrs.

Should this be good

solar heaters are far from mass acceptance due to various reasons. your choice is good enough.
