Today, Williams and I had been to the “My Dollar Store” at Besant Nagar in Chennai.
Here we came across an interesting product which was worth covering. The product is a collapsible shoe/slipper hanger. This has a Velcro based loop on the top which can be removed and wrapped around the iron rod found in most closets. The hanger when placed on a table is as tall as a notebook. But when you lift this product it unfolds itself, revealing 7 compartments for holding 7 pairs of shoes/slippers.
The pictures below would bear close resemblance to the actual product which we saw in the store.

The price of the product in store was Rs. 99 + VAT. This is not a bad deal. But we have to tell you that the product will not hold your heavy shoes or the tall ones. Ideally it is meant to store light weight slippers and sandals along with kids shoes at the max.
Still it is an interesting product and allows you to reduce clutter at home.
Williams and I shared an after thought that the same can be used to store handkerchiefs, formal socks, casual/sports socks etc too!
