		<description>I don&#039;t see why holding on to such equipment as long as it works should be wrong. Furthermore, appliances like TVs, washing machines and refrigerators are pretty expensive. So why should one dispose of them after such a short period of time if they still work? How did you calculate these time periods anyway?</description>
