Managing your cutlery in the modular kitchen space
April 8th, 2008
Maybe cutlery is a fancy thing for Indian cuisine. We are not big fans of spoons, forks or knives. But did you know that cutlery also tends to cover serving tools such as ladle. Organizing these items in your modular kitchen is an easy task. All you need to do is plan one of the drawers to have sections to store the various items.

As you can see in the picture above, there are separate sections for
- Ladle
- Tablespoons
- Teaspoons - Large
- Teaspoons - Medium
- Forks - Large
- Forks - Medium
- Fruit picks
- Serving Knife
- Cooking knife
- Pizza Slicer
- Egg beater
You can easily expand the scope to include:
- Tea strainer
- Can opener
- Scissors
- Lemon squeezer
- Measuring Spoon
- Vegetable peeler
If you have too many items in the kitchen you can easily make two drawers instead of one. Having the partitions actually is a very good thing as you need not fumble to search for the right cutlery item. (Provided you store them right in the first place).
In the picture you can notice the longer ladles and other items hung from the kitchen wall. Also in the foreground you can see a cooking hob. Perhaps this picture can give you some ideas for your kitchen.
