Slightly offbeat post today. We shift our focus on the living room for a change :)

We all get letters/mailers. These could be one of the following:

  • bank statements
  • credit card bills
  • phone/mobile bills
  • official correspondences
  • personal correspondences
  • magazines

So as you can see, the list can be quite big. In most cases, the letters are either dropped in your individual mail box (if you have one), or a common box in case of many apartments.

Once you get these letters, you probably stack them on your table or some coffee table. Here they can get misplaced and some important payments can be missed causing problems. The answer to all this is organizing. And the tool for this is “letter holder”. We are showing some samples below.

As you can see in the images above the letter holders also double as key holders. Of-course it is dependant on the model. Not all models of the letter holders will have these features.

While selecting your letter holder make sure that you choose the appropriate depth for the pockets. Since you would know what kind of letters you receive, this should not be an issue.

In the second image that you see, the wooden letter holders can double as a place to have some “post-it” stuck with reminders and similar information!

Comments are welcome.

    Hi,

we have a coatrack that doubles as a letter holder. It is installed in the hallway near the entrance door of the apartment. Thus, when entering the apartment and hanging up our coats, my flatmate and I immediately see whether we have new mail or not.

    Cheers,
    Kathy
