Some of you may have noticed that the earlier static page links on our site has changed.

links

We are slowly revamping these static pages to help serve our readers better. Currently the pages “About“, “Why Aavaas” and “How to?” have been removed. We will put them up shortly after some modifications.

What has been done now is that we are introducing static pages for all the “rooms” in a common Indian home. Here we would be listing all the items which could be put into these “rooms”.

Do drop a comment to tell us what you think about this.

Recently we have been getting a lot of queries and feedback through our “contact” page. We thank all our readers for patiently asking us questions and giving us the bouquets/brickbats! This really helps us improve our portal for you homemakers out there.

To improve efficiency of the form, we have made a slight change to the fields. Now, when you fill out the contact form, you would have to fill in two mandatory details apart from the Email address and Message. They are:

- City

- Phone Number (with STD Code)

These details would help us get to the problem quicker. We assume that most of you would be from India. If you are from other countries, please include your Country name in the city box (with a hyphen) and also include your Country code in the phone number box.

If you have feedback on this feature, please let us know.

Just found a new product in my home, and I thought of covering the same. The product is called “Exo” and is a dish washing liquid from Jyothy Laboratories - the makers of “Ujala” - the liquid blue for whitening clothes.

The package is small and practical. You can see the pictures below. The 120ml bottle (which we have) is priced at Rs. 15/-.

From the website:

Exo Dish Wash liquid presents all the potent qualities of the innovative Exo formulation in a convenient to use liquid variant.

Exo Dish Wash Liquid is the only anti bacterial dish wash liquid with Cyclozan as the active ingredient. Convenient and handy, this is ideal for stainless steel, crockery, cutlery and non-stick kitchen ware.
Exo Dish Wash Liquid ensures streak less glasses, gleaming cutlery and sparkling dishes while disinfecting them.

Exo Dish Wash liquid is presented in elegantly designed 500ml bottles & 125ml bottles.

The product performs pretty well. It has quite a few ingredients which makes cleaning utensils a hassle-free task. It has CYCLOZAN, 2-4-4′-TRICHLORO-2′ HYDROXY-DIPHENYL-ETHER’. These destroy bacteria which can cause diseases. It also fights grease on the vessels.

We liked the dispensing mechanism on the lid. Unlike some bottles where you have to snap open the lid or twist it open, the Exo bottle has a press and pour kind of a feature. See picture below.
