Morphy Richards has an innovative product that has been created specially for the Indian Market – the World’s First Tea Maker. Here, tea can be brewed electrically without a gas stove. It has been designed and developed in collaboration with Strix of the UK. The revolutionary device is simple to operate, convenient to use, quick, non-messy, and consumes very little space.

We have one and find it extremely convenient to use. For tea lovers who like to indulge in tea-bags offering various flavors, this is a very good product. Further, you can use the boiling water from this product to make “ready to eat” soup, instant cup-o-noodles, and even instant coffee – both regular and espresso !!
It took less than 2 minutes to boil half a litre of water. This is equivalent to 2-3 cups of black tea. The device has an auto cut off which means that once the water has attained the boiling state, the device shuts off. It also has a mesh inside which prevents tea leaves from pouring into the cup while serving.
The device has an MRP of Rs. 1995/- The unit which we have is manufactured in China and imported and marketing in India by Bajaj Electricals. Morphy Richards is a UK based consumer appliances company.

The tea maker can also be used as a kettle for boiling water.
Its unique boil-dry protection keeps the unit from boiling when there is no liquid left ensuring extra safety.
Automatic boiling shut off
The kettle automatically shuts off when it reaches boiling point.

You will know exactly when you need to add contents, and when the tea is ready to serve, with boiling on/off and brew on/off indicating neons.
1.5 ltr. capacity
1.5 ltr. water boiling capacity and 1 ltr. tea brewing capacity is ideal to make 8-10 cups of tea.
Anti-skid rubber grip
The handle has a unique anti-skid rubber grip making sure the kettle never slips out of your hand while handling.
Big filter and filter basket
The filter and filter basket have been specially provided and are ideal for filtering tea leaves. The removable filter can be lifted out of the kettle for fast and easy cleaning.
