Faber India and their products | Kitchen

Started in 1955 by Professor Abramo Galassi, Faber has established itself as a global brand. The company’s first product was an extraction hood and was created in 1963. Extraction hood is another term for electric chimney. Today Faber is present in around 14 countries spanning 3 continents.

Hobs

Hobs are devices which are fitted into the kitchen surface (for example granite slab). The slab is first cut out and the hob fits into this space. The advantage of this is that there is no space under the cooking device (as it would be with a conventional stove) and gives a clean and aesthetic look to one’s kitchen. Cook Tops

Cook tops are traditional stoves. Just like hobs they also will operate using LPG gas. The only difference is that they sit on top of the counter and not fixed into it. They can be moved around quite easily.

If you like to indulge in baking, roasting and other such activities for which a simple microwave oven wont do the job, then the traditional oven is the device for you. Care has to be taken to plan the installation of these ovens into your modular kitchen.

These are still a preferred choice for people who do not want to do too much rework for their kitchen. Cooking ranges offer a 3/4/5 burner cooking top with a oven built below it.   15. some time back one mechanic came for service of our Faber gas stove at 102 c urban estate focal point ludhiana and he informed us that one burner of that stove require its replacement. he left with the promise to visit again with a new burner but he did not come back where as a long time has elapsed. we request the company to send him at the earliest.

  17. This has the reference of my complaint dated October 24, 2010 for repair of burner of the gas stove. The burner stands replaced but have charged Rs.350.00 whereas at the time of purchase of the same it was told to us that it has life time guarantee.Will the company explain the reasons for charging the said amount ?

    using the faber cooktop last 3 years and very much happy,really enjoy to cook, quite surprised the customers complaints that they were not satisfied with FABER brand, also using Faber chimney and Micro oven,giving me very good service.even today after using for 3 years the grids,burners,are in verygood condition. i always use to keep clean after every use.without any spillage,of particles on the unit, no service carried out till today. i recommend FABER to my friends because my collegues were fedup in other brandsmainly. i always consider the Durability of the product,least bothered about the price

    launched complaint on FABER hob, the consumption of the gas is high, the service person came immediately and demonstrated the product,compared ith my old cooktop, suggested to use flat bottom utencils to use for proper flame,now i realised that the cooking time and consumption of gas is same if we cook in proper way. i am satisfied with the care taken to my call.Thanks To FABER Family

    one of my friend is in faber service,recommended FABER, purchased cooking range from Udupi, find stains on SS Body,made complaint, service person attended within 12 hours from mangalore though it is 70km from mangalore.explained that te stains are because of weather conditions. is it true? what is the solution?

    Dear Sir,

    I purchased Faber 4 burner Glass Top 8 months ago. Though I am happy with your product, to maintain its standard I made a service call to 04432924577 on 2 nov. They assured me for service with in 3 days. After repeated calls (7) they keep giving me false asuurance. Though it is a paid service of Rs 200 I don’t understand why they should make such a delay. My complaint no: K 0219.
    Further what should I do ,pl give sugestion on my mail.

    i have purchased hob and chimney under ‘combo’ offer from SUBIX , Palakkad, Kerala. For correct fixing of these items i am asked to contact authorised service personel at Trichur. on 10/12/2010, i requested the service agents to depute the mechanics (work order no- OM1038). i was told that their mechanics will visit my home on 11/10/2010. unfortunately no body till date visited and the responsibility and commitment from their side was not encouraging. kindly look in to the matter.

LODGED REQUEST FOR INSTALLATION ON 18-12-2010 WITH NO: 101221331 AND NO RESPONSE AND ON THE REQUESTED DATE 20-12-2010 AT 3PM THE MECHANIC DID NOT APPEARED AND ON tel CONTACT SERVICE MECHANIC misbehaved AND THREATENED TO COMPLAINT ANY WHERE SAYING NOT BOTHERED. TRIED TO CONTACT ALL THE RESOURCES TO GET BUT NO COMMITMENT. THE FAMILY IS NOT ABLE TO COOK FOOD AND IS HELPLESS AND FABER IS REQUESTED TO TAKE BACK THE PRODUCT IN VIEW OF POOR AFTER SALE SERVICE TO ENABLE US TO TAKE ANY OTHER BRAND.

    After going thru 128 comments I have my own doubts if I would have any justice in getting our Faber gas burner which is under under repair since November 2010 and failed in all attempts to get it serviced. Most of the comments revolve around one solid statement ” poor service or no service” God save the Faber company!!!

    I bought a builtin Faber dishwasher and I am totally disappointed with its performance and after sales services. It works only INTERMITTANTLY ! Abviously, there’s a loose connection and so far, after repeated complaints, it has not been resolved. The Technicians are not conversant with their jobs and the call centre/ the dealer is of NO help. Total WASTE OF MONEY !

    I am purchased 4 burner cooling appliances, but there was no any service
    provider to attend complaints. Purchased from LOTUS showroom,2nd floor
    36 mall, GE road, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, If I callphone no one attend call/no any responce, service is worsed class, before 2month repaired by your franchieese with chargeble, now again all burners are chocked and flame
    are low, so we are suffering,replace this and refund mu payment otherwise I go cunsumer forem.

    HI I PURCHASED FABER GLASS TOP HOB OF 5 BURNERS. THE VERY 3RD DAY OF PURCHASE, THE GRILL GOT DISMANTLES OF 1 BURNER, HAVE CONTACTED FABER IN PUNE, ONE MR. pANCHAL CONTACTED ME AND SAID SOMEONE WILL ATTEND TO YOUR PROBLEM, YES, SOMEONE CAME AND SAW, VISITED MY PLACE AND SAW THE BROKEN GRILL AND TOLD ME IT WILL BE REPLACED, BUT THEN “disappeared” AND NOW OUT OF 5 BURNERS 3 BURNERS’ GRILL BROKEN. SO, PLS DONT GO ON “FABER’ NAME IT SOUND LIKE GERMAN BUT MADE IN PUNE AND VERY RUBBISH AND CHEAP QUALITY PRODUCT WITH NO SERVICE.

    i purchased non scratch proof hob unit thinking it will be better than the stainless unit as it is expensive than the latter model. But the cups encircling the burner are made of almunium. So just a splash of any curry leaves a stain and does not go away on washing and cup gets discoloured leaving black spots. And the design of meshed grill is also defective. I dont think the company has taken alround perspective of the product. I bought this product from Satyam Electronics, Seven Bungalows, Mumbai. I contacted the Faber manager Mr.Patil on 99235954492 or 9923595493. When I explained the problem his curt reply was that even tea leaves can leave stains on stainless steel. I think this was the silliest reply I have ever heard. Again I called him and he told me that some photographer is coming to take photos of the unit. Photographer came and diligently took pictures of the unit. It is almost over 4 months and I have not heard of anything from the representative or company . If this is the state of affairs, I think I will enlighten my friends and acquaintances not to think about faber. It is in the fitness of things that they should acknowledge when I spoke to Mr.Patil or he is not keeping any log or does not bother about the reputation of the company. I bring this to the notice of the person concerned to take corrective action at the earliest. I think it is a bad publicity for the company to post comment. I have seen the best of kitchen appliances in india and abroad and I know the intricacies of the product concerned.

    Very poor service backup. Keep chasing them, and they dont even bother. I have both Hob and Chimney from Faber, and would NEVER EVER recommend these products. Earlier they used to have a local website, now even that is not available. Poor poor poor.
