Team Aavaas – Inviting homemakers from 4 Metros | Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata & Mumbai
Hi. If you are a regular reader of aavaas, then you probably have realized that most of the information which could pertain to a specific location is usually centred around Chennai. This is because both Williams and myself are in Chennai. In the coming days, we would really like to take this platform to other cities in India where local queries, vendor related information and the like can be easily addressed.
With this aim in mind, we would like to invite people to join “team aavaas” in enabling millions of Indian homemakers worldwide to make the right choices for their homes. If you feel you could contribute in anyway towards this purpose, do let us know.
Initially we are trying to achieve this in the 4 metro cities in India. If the response and results are good, we would like to expand this network to all major cities in India.

I’m located in kolkata. I’ve been running all over the city trying to find an interior or a kitchen designer for our small three bedroom flat. I found some but their aesthetic sense is horrendous. Their idea of hinges and locks atrocious. In fact they canmnot operate on most odf teh desihns that I would like them to such that it fits my small kitchen. They sorely lack innovative and utilatarian ideas. I have founda couple of DESIGHNERS who can really do the stuff that I want but like all DESIGNERS they cost the earth. so I’m basically looking for people who can work in innovation and have plenty of good aesthetic sense but at he same time do not charge the earth…
Have you tried Raga Kitchen people.
I found them very helpful. moreover they have a tie up with hafele , hettich,etc.
Service is good.
