I have seen stickable pads that you put near your telephone. However I like to note things on my PC instead. And since we have cordless and Mobile phones these days, we needn't bother about having to walk upto the PC. The only issue though, you would not want to boot your PC up after you have been asked to note something :) Cell phone users on headsets take things down on their phone itself.
