i have an aqua guard e boiling model. now it is 5 yrs old. i dont have any problem so far . but i heard kent ro system gives pure and sweet water. wud like to give a try . plz guide me a genuine contact person for the demo at chennai. hope their after sales service wud be gud.
I have worked wid K’nt. Did lotsa R&D there with each model. china made reverse membrane, local built vu bulb and some chinese made pump tht dies in 6-7 months.
AMC milegi ke nahi bharosa nahi kyuki delhi ncr ke bahar servicing deler dete hai jinhe service se koi matlab nahi.
eisa hi haal aquaguard ka hai.. le ke galti ho gyi mujhse bhi.
Pentair ka product ki jab r&d maari thi tab product main jaan legi.. aur abki wohi lene ka man hai .. simple effective aur no such probs.

its costing @ 14k may be they ll give 1k for my old m/c. any suggestions from ur end?………
Cannot comment of eureka. I have worked upon the models as well.. they are either with RO or UF or UV. untill you choose sumthing that uses UV + something good filteration technology(like UF/RO/MF), the machine will deliver just ok short of filtered water.
Else wht you can do … ch this arrangement than
Sediment filter+pre carbon filter+ Activated carbon + Micro filteration + some particle filteration.
UV alone is not effective .. the water has to go through some filteration. u c.
ohh ok.. now where will find such multi filter and uv water purifier?
Do not buy KENT RO. I’m having tuf time with the service personnel. My brand new kent RO machine is giving me problem for the second time in the past one month. And it keeps beeping when the water input pressure is even a little bit low. Customer service is the WORST ever. Do not buy this.

I am hoping Kent is looking at these comments, otherwise we are wasting time. Kent sucks.Though there product seems to be good(I am not confident because I have invested the equal money in service, the machine cost ). There is one service center(so called) for kent, who charges like anything.I am willing to move away from this service centre.
There service is horrible(I am willing to say Kent is not run by good people). Even after placing a request at there website, no response. I will suggest all consumers who are willing to buy water purifier, please do not go for kent.

Think twice before you buy these filters. I bought the Kent filter couple of years back and feel that it is not worth for small families or those who use few litres of water per day as the maintenance costs are too high. There is no way of knowing when to change the filter, the techinician told us we have to replace the filter every year. Last year we spent close to Rs 1000 on filter and today we called the techinician to change the filter and he told us it will cost more than Rs 3,000 as we have to replace the RO filter also. We didn’t change the RO filter and it costed us close to Rs 1000. If you go for AMC it will cost you approx Rs 4500 per annum.
The other problem with RO filters is the treated water, for every 100 litres of filtered water, close to 300 litres of water is wasted (if you are not using this water for other needs). If you are buying water from tankers or from other sources think about the cost and the amount of water that is wasted by these filters.
KENT RO System is one of the worst products in this industry. It’s a substandard product and the service is very very poor.
ro is an technology of usa the membranes are available in the market from 600 to 1300 rs only for domestic purpose and due to chocking of inline filters and membrane the water may stop i am having an experience of 10 years in ro commercial,industrial,domestic,even i make remote controlled industries traines in taiwan and by proffesor seeetaram for etp,stp

only the year maintanance is goes to 1400 rs to 1600rs for an ro if your tds is very high more than 1500 ppm ,,,,,,
if it is lesser tds then annual maintanance is 900 to 1000rs only

i am using zarna water technology ro purifier from 5 years the people had given 1 year warranty and guarantee after that they comes 1and half year once for membrane changing and 3 white filters and checks the water quality and they charge 1400 rs only i am happy now after seeing all comments i am from karnataka and i had purchased the system at 6500 rs only

I have Kent Grand+ model.
After only 1.5 months of change of RO membrane, filter, UV lamp, the unit has starter beeping again. I have raised complaint with concerned Pune contact two days ago but no one had turned up yet.
My concerns/frustration is as below:-
how can the unit stop even after part replacement
why is there zero focus of service partner (Ms Kaypee) on customer complaints
Overall costs are too high…it’s like purchasing brand new unit very year for me.
Hi Atul, Kent ppl are pathetic in terms of servic. by the way the solution to your problem is as follows:
1) open the cover box of the Machine.
2) there you will see a small box like a choke box. now you need a long pin.
3) switch off the machine and insert that pin into a small hole meant for reseting the relay switch. after that switch on the machine while keeping that reset button pressed.
4) there will be another buzz after few seconds.
5) your system is ready again and restart it.
I guess by now it will stop buzzing..
that is the only way available to stop the buzzer in their system though ..
My suggestion “Dont buy KENT– not just they compromise on service part but their product quality is also next to worst.”

Very much confused which product to buy? Previously UV technology was marketed as the best one, now a days RO with UV and UF.
On the other hand going through the different comments, it seems better to be at a distance from Kent.
