Bajaj – A brief overview of their offerings

This is the first article in a new series which we are starting. Here, we would take one company at a time and give a small introduction about the company, what products they manufacture and related details. Company Overview

Bajaj started their Indian operations in 1931 where they first manufactured sugar. Today Bajaj group comprises of  27 companies.

At the turn of the new millennium, this business conglomerate had a sale turnover in excess of US$ 1,300 million. The Net Assets were worth US$ 1,333 million and the Net Profit was US$ 58 million. What’s more, in the year 2001, it was ranked as the 5th largest business family in India by the Centre for Monitoring Indian economy (CMIE).   3. Lighting


Bajaj electricals manufactures 11 different types of appliances for home use. We will list them according to the area of usage.

Kitchen related products : In this category we have Oven Toaster Grillers, Microwave Oven, Mixers, Toasters, Electric Kettles, Gas Stoves and Water filters.

Room Solutions : In this category we have Room air coolers and Room heaters.

Laundry related solutions : Here we have the Electrical Iron product range.

Bathroom solutions :Bajaj manufacturers water heaters.


Bajaj has an extensive range of fans lined up for every possible application in a home.

Magnifique Ceiling Fans: These are designer fans which bring that extra elegance to your homes. More details can be found here.

Table, Pedestal and Wall Fans:  Where having an extra air circulation is required, or there is no provision for a ceiling fan, table or pedestal fans are an option.
