in response to ur query, an interior designer is way tooo xpensive. a carpenter thou wud charge less, u wud have to b behind him to select your raw materials,design etc…& the finished product wud not be so gud..I have seen few homes were the carpenter has done the kitchen but it hasnt come out so well. After all a woman’s major time is spent in the kitchen & she needs her space there.

We also put in a query here & many other sites but no one bothered to revert on suggestions. So wen i saw ur query, thot id help out. We have also bot a new flat & have been doin xtensive research on the same subject,we visited many sites,saw a lot of reviews & finally settled on the GODREJ modular kitchens. My kitchen has come out very well & all my friends & family love it.
They have gud designs & are not very xpensive wen compared to other brands.

Depending on ur kitchen space avlbl, they wud suggest a design & the types of units u will require too.

do check out this site & call them wichever city u r in.

They use various types like MDF,steel shutters. The pull out trays are all steel, the whole kitchen set up is made of powder coated steel..the same that the Godrej almariahs are made of.
